About Fixed Deposits


Interest will be credited to your savings account. Savings will be credited using your bank account. There are monthly plans that are credited within 90 days and another plan that is credited within 30 days. Fixed deposits can be opened there in an individual name or jointly. According to the term, the interest rate is given for general citizen, senior citizen fixed deposits. Our financial fixed deposits have high safety and reliability ratings to ensure the safety of your invested amount. Apart from regular interest. We offer higher interest rates for special tenures of 12,18,22,30,39 and 44 months. While increasing FD rates affect your returns, it also affects your investment tenure. A longer tenure for your fixed deposits means you invest for longer to enjoy the power of compounding returns.


  • Minimum tenure is 6 months and maximum tenure is 60 months.
  • Minimum deposit is Rs.1000.
  • Monthly/Quarterly interest option available.
  • Any bank account can be credited without interest.
  • No interest is paid if the deposit is completed before 6 months.
  • For early closure of deposits after 6 months, interest on the deposit will be payable at the rate applicable for the period when the deposit with us is less than 2%.
  • Nomination facility is available for all deposit accounts.
  • No TDS on interest up to Rs.5000 per annum.

Documents Required For Opening Fixed Deposits

  • Identity Proof – Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card (Anyone).
  • Address Proof – Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Telephone Bill, Property Tax Bill & Lease Deed (Anyone).
  • Two Passport size photographs.
  • One hundred rupees for membership.
  • Three hundred rupees to open a savings account in Tenkasi.
  • Deposit accounts can be opened in the name of minors and must be operated by a guardian who is a member of Tenkasi Fund.
